I've received many comments recently about how long my hair's getting. No one specified if they liked it or not, simply said something along the lines of "wow! Your hair's really getting long!" I hadn't personally noticed, although the last time I got it cut, david liked the line of the back, and left it longer. That was sometime at the beginning of july, and I haven't been back since. (I only go about 4 times a year, and since I have no income, I won't be going for sometime yet!) So it makes sense that it's on the long side. Normally, I go and tell david to do whatever he wants. He's the only hairdresser I've felt comfortable saying that to, and I always like what he ends up doing. He better not move anywhere or I'll really be out of luck. My question for all of you is this; is my hair better on the longer side, or the shorter side? Here are two pictures to help you decide. Please vote in the comment section. Then I can tell david what the majority thinks, although I'll still let him make the final call.

After looking at these myself, I vote for short. Even knowing that it was probably 100 degrees in the long hair picture (and therefore not a true representation of my actual hair), I don't like it as much as the short hair one at the top of some windy tower in delft. That has more edge to it.
A little bit longer
I say keep it long for a while, so when you cut it, it seems more dramatic-- that's what I like to do! But I'm a hair cut slacker...
It's cute both ways.
I vote for short! I think that short hair and glasses look great together. I can't wait until I can chop off my hair -- only 2 more inches to go and then it will be long enough to donate.
Yeah, I think either looks good. In those photos it looks styled when shorter, and when it's longer that's from your cooking night, right? So it's not really a fair comparison. If forced to choose, I'd say I prefer it slightly shorter.
ET#2- I agree with the glasses and short hair look. My question is this: does the short hair need glasses? I just got contacts that I wear 4/7ish days, so it would be sad to cut my hair, and not like it without glasses.
Brian- the long hair one is from cooking night, which definitely was hot and sweaty. However, I had gone to meet with some people from Children's right before, so it was "styled" that day. The short hair picture was at the top of a windy church tower when I was in Europe last summer, so while it may look styled, it really wasn't. That's just what my hair does when it's short like that, which is kind of why I like it better. I'll see if I can find a better long-haired picture to post.
Since it's easier to style short, I change my vote to keep it short! It doesn't need the glasses to look cute... and I'm all about easy styling. My hair looks like CRAP today, it's so humid out, what is with the weather today?
Sounds good Nora- I'm glad you like it short too since you were a big vote for leaving it long. The weather has been particularly strange lately- who knows why!!
I did look for another long hair picture, but couldn't find one since I don't tend to take pictures of myself. Sorry!
