I had my meeting with the child life specialist at children's hospital yesterday. Due to hippa, I couldn't actually shadow her, but I spent an hour and a half with her, talking, touring, and asking questions. It was fantastic. I got a much better idea of what it will be like, and even got info on the master's program. Now I just have to get all my references, immunizations, etc in to the volunteer office so I can get started on my 100 hours before april.
