I did it! Roasted my first chicken! Thanks to all the suggestions, it went quite well. Here I am holding the raw chicken. I wasn't sure how happy I'd be playing around with raw meat, but it was pretty cool. It reminded me of a baby- a headless one. I fixed it up, threw it in the oven, checked the temp a few times, and an hour later, voila! A cooked bird! I also made a big salad and roasted rosemary potatoes to go along with it. It was quite easy- something I'll definitely do again. Maybe I'll even invite people over to eat it next time!

Good job! You look cute in those pictures, and I'm glad you're wearing the apron!!! I'm home from Florida and watching the Red Sox. I hope they can keep this lead!
